Joyful Spirit Concert

Local gospel choir, Joyful Spirit will be giving a concert at Portishead Methodist Church on April 28th at 7.30pm. The concert is free although donations to Za Foundation will be gratefully received during the evening. Refreshments will be available.

Gordano School Rag Week

Gordano School 6th Form in Portishead are holding their annual rag week at the end of March, in aid of Za Foundation.

It is a week of fun and silliness which last year raised £2300 and they are aiming even higher this year for £3000. If you attend Gordano School make sure you go to one of their events. We’ll post more information here as we get it.

A big thank you to Gordano School 6th form in Portishead for choosing Za Foundation as their charity to raise funds for during their Rag Week at the end of March.

They raised £2300 last year and are aiming for £3000 this year which is amazing.

We hope they have a fun and successful week!

Vusi Kubayi the Zakhele Music Director is holding auditions for new Zakhele members on Friday and Saturday this coming weekend. These auditions will take place in Schoemansdal, KaMhlushwa and Tonga. Long Ashton Orchestra will once again be supporting Za Foundation with a charity concert at Portishead Methodist Church. The concert will be free and donations will be taken during the evening.

A wonderful evening was had by all on Saturday 14th January as the Long Ashton Orchestra gave a magnificent performance in aid of Za Foundation. Portishead Methodist Church was packed to the rafters and a fantastic sum of £1100 was raised in donations. Thank you to all those who attended and made the evening such a special event. Thank you to Portishead Methodist Church for hosting the evening. And special thanks to the Long Ashton Orchestra for their continued support of Za Foundation.
